Explore the story of international communications in our interactive Visitor’s Centre and take a tour of this fascinating site. From interactive displays to film shows to historical artefacts, Goonhilly has something for everyone. We also have a Licensed Café, children’s play areas, shops and more.

Enjoy a unique voyage of discovery on our guided tour around the main site. You will visit the old Command Complex which affords you a panoramic view of the dishes and gives you the opportunity to take some stunning photographs.

From the Command Complex you will re-board the bus to drive around Merlin, the largest dish on site, who proudly wears his own Blue Peter badge. Then past Guinevere and the 6,000 year old standing stone to be returned to the multimedia Visitor’s Centre.

There follows an action packed film show vividly depicting the route a live TV picture takes to get to the TV in your living room.
